Isaiah 7: 3-7

This Scripture concerns Syria.

Specifically verse 10 & 11 is pertinent which states "Moreover the Lord spoke again to Ahaz saying, 'Ask you a sign of the Lord your God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.' "

Jeremiah 25: 27-28

This Scripture  passage concerns the coming whirlwind to Israel and the nations.

The specific verse 31 is of great note:

"A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth;

for the Lord has a controversy with the nations,

He will plead with all flesh;

He will give them that are wicked to the  sword."

says the Lord.

"Now learn a parable from the fig tree; When it's branch is yet tender, and puts forth it's leaves, you know that summer is near; So likewise you, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors." Mathew 25: 32 & 33
