One Flock

More About the Sheep

9-13-16

The sheep were not around for several days. They showed up after dark in a hurry. They ran from pasture to pasture in the dark at break neck speed. I could not understand how they could see in the dark. They started running faster and faster from one pasture to the next in a frantic circle. It was as though they had lost their sense of direction entirely.

I looked up sheep behavior to try and understand what was going on. The article informed me that the flock follows the head ram who on occasion can mislead the flock down a ravine or into confusion.

The head ram of this flock was frantically trying to find direction but as time progressed he became more and more distressed as the sheep's bells indicating by their ringing. I prayed the shepherd would show up to take control of the flock before their were serious consequences. Finally towards midnight the flock settled down likely exhausted.

9-14-16 PM

The sheep show up again after dark still without a shepherd. Still they were restless roaming from meadow to meadow but not in the frantic stampede of the previous night. They finally settled down to sleep.

9-15-16 AM

The early morning the sheep were in the upper meadow beginning to move around (could tell by their bells on their necks). Suddenly the shepherd appeared whistling and shouting to them. They changed their direction from going up the hill turning around to follow him down the opposite direction. He called to his dog Pedro to drive them.

They were driven through a narrow pass into another meadow as the shepherd chased them from behind running after them and yelling at them. The sheep became uncertain the flock dividing into two different directions. The shepherd picked up a large stick going over to the left divided flock he threw the stick into the middle of that group. That group divided into two sections to the right and left of the thrown stick. Then each divided portion turned to the sides to run back to the main flock uniting all the flock into one group.

The shepherd was whistling and calling to them as the flock began to come under the head ram for direction. But the shepherd kept going towards the front of the flock whistling and calling to them to keep the flocks attention on him not the lead ram. He came to the front of the flock to lead them in the direction that he wanted them to go. Now the flock was following the shepherd not the lead ram.

Analogy of the State of His Flock

The sheep were following the lead of the head ram which had lost his way into frantic and potential destruction. The shepherd had to show up to reestablish His lead into safe paths.

Head Ram=Leaders in the Body of Christ

Shepherd=Chief Shepherd Yeshua

The Lord has and is coming to His flock scattering it to reestablish His voice amongst His flock to bring them into one flock under His headship.

Mathew 9:35

36But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.37Then saith he unto his disciples,The harvest truly isplenteous, but the labourers arefew;38Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

 John 10

1Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.2But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.3To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.4And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.5And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.6This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

John 10: 25Jesus answered them,I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.26But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

Eph 4: With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;3Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.4There isone body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;5One Lord, one faith, one baptism,6One God and Father of all, who isabove all, and through all, and in you all.7But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Of course there is currently a false working of unity called ecumenicalism which is not by the Spirit of Yeshua Ha Mesiach.

Ezekiel 34:30Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD.31And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD.
