Chateau D'Amour

July 22, 2011

A dream I had several nights ago as I was struggling in my weaknesses.

I was in France (I spent some of my childhood in the Paris suburbs). I was with some young courtesans elegantly dressed in a beautiful geometric garden. A young flirtatious belle (who was Kyria Knightly the actress) was surrounded by admirers.

I was on the sidelines. I was plainly dressed in a somewhat peasant garb but it was my best. I watched outside the group. I felt unaccepted.

The Master of the beautiful chateau belonging to the garden grounds sent out invitations to a ball he was hosting. All were invited. The Chateua Master was an elderly eleagant man with white hair sporting a trimmed beard and mustache meticulously dressed.

I entered the chateau which was filled with chandeliers, satin dressed waiters and maids every elegance in which every detail was perfected. The guest were all finely dressed. I was dressed in my best plain but acceptable garb. I was the wall flower. I was even behind the servants as they were more richly dressed than I.Kyria Knightly was surrounded by charming handsome men but she had her eyes on the gentlemen's son the prince.

He was watching her and engaging but not fully involved with her. I on the other hand was observing on the side lines. I was tolerated but unaccepted a looser.

I tried to keep my heart pure.

The event came to a close. We left the chateau out to the gardens. The prince no longer had eyes for Kyria Knightly but his heart came to me. I had won his heart by the testing of my attitude.

Moral interpretation:

The chateau is the Lord's mansion aka the church. The prince is looking for an acceptable companion. The chateau is the worldly sensual condition of the church. The event is the test of ministries. The guests demonstrate their condition by their behaviors of flirtatious popular worldy sensual or humble rejected simple modest even behind the servants. I was a ministry reject!

Exhortation: Endure until the end for then shall you win the prince's heart.
