Ten Days of Awe or Repentance
Description: Aseret Yemei Teshuvah the Ten Days of Repentance between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur when everyone's name will be sealed.
This is a time for us to repent and turn whole-heartedly to the Lord in order to be sealed into the Book of Life. Three spiritual virtues of the High Holidays Teshuva, Tehillah, and Tzedakah-repentance, prayer, and charity-are to be observed.
As Messianic Judgment Day came through Yeshua's sacrificial offering for our sins (2Cor 5:21). Our names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life or Sefer HaChayim (Rev 13:8). We are not acceptable through our own work's of righteousness (Titus3:5-6). As a result of our faith we demonstrate works of righteousness. A final Day of Judgment will come (Rev 20:15) all whose names are not written in the Book of Life will be thrown into he lake of fire.
